Juan Silva

Juan Silva has been in the photographic industry for over 22 years and has been taking photographs ever since his youth. Juan has also managed to build up quite an impressive resume working with big name clients such as Prada, Next, M&S, Conde Nast Publications and many others.

Before joining Photomart, Juan also managed the E6 (Reversal Film) department at the UK's largest professional laboratory, Metro Imaging Ltd.

He now advises other professional photographers on Printing, Studio Lighting and Studio Set Up and also shares his vast knowledge and experience with Photomart customers. Juan still shoots weddings and portraiture in his spare time and also enjoys photographing architecture. He also proudly boasts about assisting his daughter on fashion shoots and how she has clearly inherited her father's enthusiasm and aptitude for photography!

To a large extent, Juan has taught himself the craft of Photography and his first encounter with developing and printing was while he was at school at Lima in Peru. Juan has also earned various Certificates in Photography including Quality Control and Processing and Print Management.
