www.photomart.co.uk is organizing two presentations of a unique photography training day in the United Kingdom, in the cities of Birmingham & Manchester, on July 27 and August 30, 2007, respectively.
The training days will teach delegates the business and practice of event photography, featuring SONY photo printers and ExpressDigital DARKROOM software. BPPA Award winner Keith Trainor will show delegates how to set up and light a photographic background - using his distinctive white back-lit effect - and how to shoot subjects against it. He will also demonstrate how to photograph people against a drop-out chromakey greenscreen, and then use DARKROOM software to superimpose them on a digital fantasy background.
Event photography is a fun and highly profitable way to make a living. Keith Trainor is the most sought-after speaker on event photography in the UK. As well as demonstrating the practical techniques of event photography, he will also share his extensive knowledge of the business side of the activity.
Delegates will need to bring their laptop to these events, as half the day is devoted to training on the ExpressDigital DARKROOM software, with trainer Bryan Osborne. DARKROOM is the workflow software that enables you to maximize your output (and your profit!) at events. DARKROOOM is also the software that will enable you to instantly create prints using templates that include borders, text, graphics and backgrounds - including the digital backgrounds you use with greenscreen effects.
There will also be a first UK demonstration of www.photomart.co.uk's new digital album maker press, which produces perfectly bound photo books, with pages that lie flat and even, without any curling.
The Birmingham date is on Friday, July 27, 2007 and will be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole NEC, in the Durham room.
The Manchester date will be on Thursday, August 30, 2007 in the Hilton Manchester Airport, in the Dorval Suite.
Both training days will start at 9:00am and finish at 5:00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be included on both days. Tickets, priced at £50 + VAT are available from the www.photomart.co.uk website.
