PHOTOMART LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

LONDON, 21 August, 2006 -- Photomart, a leading online seller of photographic goods in the UK, unveiled its radically changed new-look website today, at www.photomart.co.uk The new website was developed to improve the shopping experience of Photomart customers, and is integrated with the company's warehouses and order processing systems. "My priority was the customer", Photomart MD, Lewis Martindale said, "Once all the technical work to integrate the website with our backoffice systems was completed, I got involved to ensure attention was paid to improving the customer experience, and ensuring quality of customer service. Information on the site will always be up-to-date, it will be easy to find what you're looking for, and payment will be simple and secure." The new website, which was more than twelve months in development, is one of the final phases of a major IT project at Photomart. The project, which is now largely complete, was undertaken to integrate the expanding company's order processing, warehousing, shipping and accounting into a single system. The new-look website was created for Photomart by UK developers Iocea.com. Garry Billson at Iocea.com was the lead developer, and the project was steered by Photomart IT Manager, Iliyan Hristov, Dipl. Eng. - Photomart Marketing Manager, Simon Towler, also took a two-year Open University Certificate course (in Web Application Development) to support the project. Prices on the new Photomart website will be lower than for Photomart products ordered through other channels, and the site's launch will be accompanied by a number of promotional special offers.

PHOTOMART TAKES SONY SNAPLAB TO CTN SHOW

LONDON, 8 August, 2006 - Photomart ( www.photomart.co.uk ), a leading online wholesaler of photo products in the UK, will be showing Sony's new SnapLab photo printing mini-kiosk at CTN WORLD '06, (the CTN and Subpostmaster shows) at the N.E.C. in Birmingham this October 14th and 15th. Photomart's new Sony SnapLab is a profitable low-cost alternative to photo kiosks for outlets that don't have the floor-space or footfall to justify them. It's a compact unit designed for counter payment, and is so simple to operate that it can be self-service. Despite this, it has all the photo features of the larger units. Photomart, Sony's main UK dealer for the SnapLab, is an independent company built on delivering wholesale photosupplies to the independent sector throughout the UK and Ireland. The firm is an established favourite with Pharmacies and Photo Labs, and has exhibited at the CTN and Subpostmaster shows before. The Photomart stand will be number J34 in Hall 7. In addition to the SnapLab, the company will also be exhibiting ID photo systems and other photo solutions ideal for retail environments.
