Public Stealing Flashes!

More and more event photographers are contacting www.photomart.co.uk to try to find solutions to the problem of having their "flashes stolen" by the public! It turns out they're not talking about light-fingered Joes lifting their guns or heads, they're talking about happy snappers triggering the photographer's remotes with their own camera phone flashes!
If you're running strobes on battery power this "flash stealing" can be a serious drain on your pocket. One eventer told us that his set-up will give him up to 500 flashes on a charge, but that as many as 300 of these will be "stolen" by the public! That limits him to just 200 shots at his events, a real loss of earnings!
