A photographer whose premises had been burgaled a number of times found himself confronted in the small hours of the morning by a man who had broken in. Photographer Jeff Dykehouse - who lives just behind his shop in Grand Rapids, MI, USA - was woken by the intruder on the night of October 8. At least one shot was fired. The intruder, a convicted burglar,
expired before reaching hospital.
Mr. Dykehouse is well known locally for doing a lot of free photography for children's charities since losing his own daughter to leukemia.
