BOXERS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS HOLD EVENT FOR DOWNS SYNDROME ASSOCIATION

LONDON, JULY 3, 2006 - Former World Boxing Champions Frank Bruno, Colin McMillan and Charlie Magri posed for photographs with members of the public this July 1st and 2nd at the Sun Kissed music festival in Essex, to raise funds for the Downs Syndrome Association. The photographs were printed on the spot, and sold right away, with 100% of receipts going to the charity. They were taken by photographer Kirk Verdi - he and his staff gave their time for free. Kirk also donated the use of his classic Ferrari cars to the event, and enlisted the support of leading photographic supplier, Photomart, and manufacturer Mitsubishi, to provide the instant digital photo prints sold on the day.
